ILOILO – The May and June 2022 One COVID-19 Allowance (OCA) will be distributed either this week or early next week.
The Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO), Provincial Accounting Office and Provincial Treasurer’s Office are preparing the papers and payroll.
“I need the patience of everyone because there are about 2,406 checks nga i-prepare sang treasurer’s office and pirmahan pa na sang administrator kag i-release. Hopefully, sini nga semana or early next week ma-release na,” said IPHO head Dr. Maria Socorro Colmenares-Quiñon.
A total of 1,142 health workers, composed of provincial government-hired vaccinators and personnel from the Hospital Management Office and IPHO, will receive their OCA for May 2022.
Another 1,139 health workers were qualified for OCA for June 2022.
They will receive P9,000 per month.
Provincial Administrator Raul Banias may issue an executive order for the guidelines on the release of OCA to avoid crowding at the Provincial Treasurer’s Office.
Quiñon earlier disclosed that the Department of Health (DOH) only downloaded the fund to the Iloilo provincial government on June 7 for the May 2022 and June 2022 OCA.
Meanwhile, the DOH has yet to have a budget for the July 2022 to December 2022 OCA.
