HEART Evangelista refused to be cowed by what appeared to be an attack on Instagram account after her recently posted fashion videos restricted interaction with her fans and followers.

On Thursday, June 20, the fashion icon-slash-influencer shared a screenshot of her video on Instagram with a warning note that said the platform had restricted “certain activity,” supposedly to protect the community. This usually means that the platform flagged her videos after receiving multiple reports, an act akin to “shadow banning,” which blocked the user from the platform without her knowledge, typically by making their posts and comments no longer visible to other users.

Evangelista, who attended the Paris Fashion Week, captioned her post: “Thank you, my love, but this time around they can report and sabotage all they want. Not here anymore for numbers, clout, or work (in a sense). I’m here to LIVE and SHOP.”

She was apparently addressing a follower’s comment who pointed out that somebody is messing up her Instagram videos again.

Evangelista recently landed the fourth spot in the Top 20 Global Celebrities for all fashion and sportswear after generating a total of $85 million in media impact value (MIV) on fashion marketing.

In 2023, the Kapuso socialite topped the influencer ranking at Milan Fashion Week as she obtained $1.4 million in media impact value within the tracking period.

For this year’s Milan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, Evangelista bagged the third spot in the ranking after bringing in $3.6 million in media impact value, trailing behind Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who ranked second with $5.4 million in MIV.

Aside from her fashion duties, Evangelista also recently added a feather to her cap when she took the oath as the new head of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc., following her husband, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s election as the new Senate chief.
