ACTRESS Heart Evangelista is gearing up for what appears to be a momentous project in China, as she revealed packing heavy for a multiple-day “adventure like no other.”
Evangelista, 33, triggered speculation among her 3 million Instagram followers with posts chronicling her transit to China, as well as her first day there.
Captioning her view from her airplane seat, she wrote: “As I looked out my window today, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Here I am about to embark on an adventure like no other and I couldn’t be more excited.”
“Here’s to hoping we packed enough outfits for my stay here,” she said in a post showing at least six luggage she had packed for the trip.
She also said she was “mentally preparing for the busy days ahead” in the caption of a photo of her holding a cup of coffee.
Evangelista did not give further details about her project in China, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. A number asked whether it had anything to do with “China Rich Girlfriend,” the big-screen sequel to the 2018 blockbuster “Crazy Rich Asians.”
Evangelista has formed a friendship with the author of the series on which the movies are based, Kevin Kwan. Notably, she was personally contacted by Kwan to join a Harper’s Bazaar feature on real-life “crazy rich Asians,” as they visited Paris Fashion Week.
An actress since she was 13, Evangelista has made no secret of auditioning for but failing to get a role in “Crazy Rich Asians.” She, however, has said she is open to futher international projects should she get offers. (ABS-CBN News)
