CAPIZ – Due to heavy rains, some barangays in Sigma town were flooded on Christmas day, Dec. 25.
Based on the report of the Sigma Emergency Operation Center, as of 1 p.m., the flooded barangays included Dayhagon to Cogon Road (passable to all kinds of vehicles); Sitio Balud, Barangay Cogon (passable to all kinds of vehicles); Sitio Alimbayud, Barangay Cogon (passable to all kinds of vehicles); and Barangay Bangonbangon (passable to all kinds of vehicles).
As of this writing, no families have been displaced or evacuated.
Flood waters were expected to recede yesterday afternoon if no more heavy rains followed through./PN
