
“HELLO, Love, Again” is set to have the biggest North American theatrical release for a Filipino film.
As per report by Deadline, the sequel starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards will be distributed by film distributor Abramorama in 200 to 250 cinemas on opening day across the US and Canada on November 15.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Abramorama in sharing Hello, Love, Again with US and Canadian audiences and showcasing the amazing performances from Kathryn and Alden,” ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen remarked.
He went on: “‘Hello, Love, Again’ has a unique opportunity to connect with a wide range of audiences through its themes of cultural pride, love, and personal growth. This is the homecoming audiences deserve, and there is real excitement around how Joy and Ethan choose to end their epic story.”
The sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” the movie follows the story of Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) and Ethan (Alden Richards), this time in Canada.
The official trailer of the movie was released on October 8 which gained 5.6 million views in three hours according to Star Cinema.
The film concluded its production in Canada last August.
On what fans can expect from the sequel, director Cathy Garcia-Sampana said in a previous interview: “Tinutuloy lang natin ang kwento, lumilipat lang ng lugar pero ganoon pa rin. This is all about Filipino workers working and living abroad and grabe, sabi namin oh may iba pala talagang kwento ‘pag lumipat ka na ng bansa, ibang iba,” she stated.
“Hello, Love, Again” marks the first film collaboration of Star Cinema and GMA Pictures. (PUSH)
