ILOILO City –For allegedly stealing her employer’s gold bracelet and silver pendant, a 19-year-old maid was arrested.
Suspect Cherry Fernando, 19, of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental was placed under citizen’s arrest by her employer, Ma. Lourdes Chin, 53, of Barangay Avanceña, Molo district.
At the Molo police station, Chin said she made an inventory of her jewels on Saturday and found out that her solid gold bracelet worth P150,000 and an antique silver pendant worth P2,000 were gone.
She asked Fernando about the missing items but the maid denied having stolen them, sad Chin.
The items, however, were later found in the black shoulder bag of the suspect, said Chin./PN
