BACOLOD City – A “high-value” drug suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the 29-year-old Jonel Amante of Barangay Hacienda Fe, Escalante City, a police report showed.
Amante was caught after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 on Sunday, the report added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Escalante City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
