ILOILO City – A high-value drug suspect was arrested after yielding over P374,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay West Timawa, Molo district around 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Roy Flores alias “Mamang” is a resident of Barangay Aguinaldo, La Paz district but temporarily residing in Barangay West Timawa.
Officers of Molo police station’s Station Drug Enforcement Team led by Police Major Marlyn B. Roquero caught the suspect after selling a suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P18,000.
Police recovered a total of 55 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P374,8000, one blue floral-designed pouch, a cellular phone, weighing scale, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Molo police station. He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
