BACOLOD City – A “high-value” drug target was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Camugao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Ten sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P350,000 were recovered from 27-year-old resident Carina Mirasol Bangrain, a police report showed.
Bangrain was nabbed after she sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 9, the report added.
Aside from suspected shabu, P4,425 cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
Bangrain was detained in the lockup cell of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
