BACOLOD City – Police arrested a “high-value” target in a drug sting operation in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P30,000 were recovered from 61-year-old resident Armida Guttierez, a police report showed.
The suspect sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, it added.
When frisked, Guttierez yielded P700 cash, a Nokia 3310 cellphone, and drug paraphernalia.
Guttierez was detained in the Kabankalan City police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
