BACOLOD City – A “high-value” drug suspect was killed in a sting operation in Purok Tumpok, Barangay Zone 15, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
He was identified as resident Rusty Constantino who sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police raided his house on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7 p.m. on Monday.
According to investigation, Constantino resisted to authorities using a .38-caliber revolver. The police officers retaliated and shot Constantino.
Twelve sachets of suspected shabu, five live bullets and four empty shells of a .9mm shot gun
were recovered from him.
Constantino’s body was brought to a local mortuary for examination./PN
