High-value suspects yield P450K ‘shabu’

ILOILO City – Two regional high-value suspects were collared in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao.

Efren Fabrigar Jr., 40, was a resident of Barangay Bagombong, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo, and Rem Glenn Villaluna, 37, was from Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao.

More or less 67 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated, including the buy-bust item, with a standard drug price of P455,600.

The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-6 (PRDEU-6) and the Mandurriao Police Station conducted the drug sting around 11:23 p.m. on Monday, June 26.

“These two subjects had prior violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022),” said PRDEU-6 chief Police Major Rommel Anicete in Hiligaynon in an interview with Radyo Bandera Iloilo.

He added: “Mga one month rin ang monitoring namin sa kanila (We monitored them for about one month).”

The suspects are currently in the custody of Iloilo City Police Station 5-Mandurriao for proper disposition./PN
