ANTIQUE – A considered high-value target was arrested in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) -Antique, Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) -Antique and Sibalom Municipal Police Station in Barangay District 3, Sibalom, Antique last March 31, 2022.
The arrested person was identified as Brian Paul Salonga y Casiano, 38, a resident of Barangay 5, San Jose, Antique, and one of Antique’s listed or high-value targets.
Several sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less three (3) grams with a standard value of P20, 400.00, buy-bust money, a mobile phone, and a Yamaha Mio scooter were recovered from the subject’s position.
A case for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect./PN
