ILOILO City – Officers of the Iloilo City Police Station 10 (ICPS10) confiscated around P476,000 worth of suspected shabu following the arrest of a high-value drug suspect in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
Captain Val Cambel, chief of ICPS10, said alias “Nonoy”, 32, and a resident of Barangay Rizal, Lapuz district, yielded 14 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 70 grams early morning on Tuesday, November 12.
Authorities also recovered P7,000 in buy-bust money and non-drug-related items.
The suspect is now detained at ICPS10, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
