BACOLOD City – Police arrested two drug suspects in a drug sting operation in Purok Katilingban, Barangay 40 here.
Suspected shabu contained in six sachets valued at around P150,000 were seized from 39-year-old resident Rey Melendez – tagged as “high-value” target. His alleged customer Honesto Melendez, 41, was also caught.
Officers of Police Station 2 staged the entrapment operation that led to the arrest of the suspects around 9 p.m. on Friday.
Police reports showed Melendez was recently released from prison through the government’s plea bargaining agreement.
