High-value target nabbed with P442K worth of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Police arrested a 37-year-old woman in an anti-illegal drug operation on Sunday, September 15, in Barangay 2 here.

Alias “Liezel, tagged as a high-value drug suspect and a resident of the aforementioned barangay, was caught by officers of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) around 8 p.m.

Police seized nine plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 65 grams and with an estimated value of P442,000.

The suspect is now under police custody. She will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Acts of 2002).

Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6, recognized the BCPO under the leadership of Colonel Joeresty Coronica for the successful operation and relentless effort against all forms of criminality in their area of responsibility./PN
