ILOILO – Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at P108,000 were seized from a high-value drug suspect in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Padios, Sara town on Thursday, Feb. 8.
The suspect identified as “Ian” was arrested around 9:03 a.m. by joint operatives of the Sara Municipal Police Station, and Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Intelligence Unit.
Aside from the 16 grams of illegal substance, police also recovered buy-bust money and non-drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was detained at the Sara MPS, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
