
BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office – Police Station 2’s (BCPO-PS2) anti-narcotics operation in Purok Rose, Barangay 9 here around 1:03 a.m. on March 21 resulted in the arrest of a high-value suspect.
Police identified the arrested as alias “Nico”, 22, unemployed, and a resident of the city’s Barangay Vista Alegre.
Three knot-tied plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 125 grams and valued at estimated P850,000 were recovered.
Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6, lauded the members of the BCPO-PS2 for the successful operation and the arrest of the subject.
“The operation against Nico was a significant victory in our relentless campaign against illegal drugs in the region. This operation speaks of our personnel’s commitment to protecting and shielding communities from the perils of the illegal substance,” said Wanky.
The suspect is presently under police custody for filing of appropriate charges./PN
