BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in an antidrug operation of the police in Purok 1, Barangay Cabanbanan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Around 10:15 a.m. on Maundy Thursday, the following were detained at the city’s police station lockup cell:
* Rammy “Bronse” Cardenas Castro, 26
* Aaron Cesar Borja, 37
Castro was a resident of Purok 1 while Borja was from of Sitio Mangga also in Barangay Cabanbanan.
The suspects sold a sachet of shabu for P500 to an undercover police officer, according to Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez Jr., Himamaylan police chief.
Another sachet was recovered from Borja.
The suspects face a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
