BACOLOD City – The No. 1 most wanted person in Himamaylan City was arrested on the national highway of Barangay Tooy.

Rape suspect Jeffrey Singbin, 33, of Sitio Riles-Cagay, Barangay Suay was taken to the city police station on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez, acting police chief of Himamaylan City, Singbin was charged with six counts of rape.

Presiding Judge Franklin Demonteverde of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 55 issued Singbin’s arrest warrant.

No bail bond was recommended by the court./PN
