SOLENN Heussaff recently became controversial after she posted a photo of a promo for her art exhibit. It was set on a poor area, and there were netizens who quickly accused Solenn of being “insensitive”.
Solenn Heussaff took the time to explain her side, especially about being tagged as privileged.
The actress said she was trying to convey a message of doing something to solve the environmental problems, but somehow, it did not yield the same effect on people.
“‘Yung mga comments naman, a lot of them are very relevant and really eye-opener para sa akin, so I saw their side. So, ‘yun, I wanted to apologize to everyone.”
She also addressed the accusations that she was privileged. “Alam ko naman na I’m privileged, but hindi ibig sabihin na bobo ako o hindi ko alam kung ano ‘yung mangyayari. So, it’s not because I’m privileged that I can’t care about the people I see every day.”(KAMI)
