BACOLOD City – For illegal gambling, a resident of Barangay 1, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental was apprehended.
The 54-year-old Benedicto Gonzales was caught playing the numbers game jai-alai around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, a police report showed.
Recovered from his possession were two pieces of tipster and P150 bet money.
The suspect was taken to the Hinoba-an municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
