BACOLOD City – Police were still identifying the suspect in what appeared to be a “hit-and-run” incident in Barangay 1, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The 71-year-old Fernando Caban of Barangay 2, Isabela sustained body injuries, a police report showed.
He was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Isabela.
The vehicle that hit Caban was still unidentified, police said.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Monday on Burgos Street, the report stated./PN
