BACOLOD City – Police were still identifying the suspects in shooting a man in the hinterland barangay of Minaotok in Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
The 33-year-old Jayson Luceno, a resident of Minaotok, was shot twice on the chest, a police report showed.
According to the police, six men were responsible for the shooting that happened around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Luceno was rushed to the Calatrava District Hospital but later transferred to the San Carlos City Hospital where he was currently under treatment.
Luceno was on his way home from a neighbor’s house when the armed men attacked him. The firearm used in the attack was still unknown.
