ILOILO City – For illegal possession of firearm, a construction worker was arrested in Barangay Idiacacan, Pandan, Antique.
Police identified him as 37-year-old resident Elmer Ambubuyog.
Village councilman Victor Esteban complained Ambubuyog indiscriminately fired a homemade gun Thursday night.
Responding police officers recovered an improvised.357-caliber revolver and two spent bullets.
Ambubuyog was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station, facing charges./PN
