ILOILO City – For possession of a firearm without license, Francisco Anas was arrested.
Anas faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
A loaded homemade 12-gauge shotgun was seized from him, a police report showed.
Anas was drunk when police caught him in their barangay of Santo Niño in San Miguel, Iloilo on Monday, stated the report.
Officers on patrol found him wielding the weapon at around 9:30 p.m.
Anas was then taken to the San Miguel police station./PN
