ILOILO City – In Laua-an, Antique a 27-year-old man charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide surrendered to the police yesterday.
Jiel Alarba of Barangay Guinbanga-an, Laua-an learned that the 2nd Municipal Circuit Trail Court issued an arrest warrant against him. Around 9:50 a.m. he decided to voluntarily turn himself in to the municipal police station.
Judge Lunel Gabayoyo set Alarba’s bail bond at P30,000.
It was unclear as of this writing if Alarba was able to secure his temporary liberty by posting bail./PN
