ROXAS City – A man wanted for two criminal charges has been arrested in Pilar, Capiz.
Operatives from the Pilar police station caught Isagani “Tokmo” Diotay, a 46-year-old resident of Barangay Dulangan in the town.
Police served him warrants of arrest at around 7 p.m. Thursday in Barangay Natividad, said Senior Inspector Alfred De Leon, municipal police chief.
Diotay has been charged with attempted homicide in 2011 and violation of Presidential Decree 1866, as amended by Republic Act 8294 (illegal possession of firearm) in 2012, De Leon said.
“Nakabaton kita information from concerned citizens with regard to his (Diotay) whereabouts,” De Leon told Panay News.
Judge Hannibal Patricio of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court in President Roxas issued the arrest warrants.
Judge Patricio set the bail at P60,000 for the attempted homicide charge and P12,000 for the illegal possession of firearm charge, said De Leon./PN
