‘Hot meat’ from Kabankalan confiscated in Dumaguete

BACOLOD City – Several boxes of “hot meat” broiler chicken were confiscated by authorities in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Friday.

Several kilos of broiler chicken meat worth around P90,000 were confiscated and ordered destroyed by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS).

The poultry products were believed to be lacking pertinent papers from Kabankalan City and did not pass through a standard meat inspection.

Authorities are still tracing the owner of the broiler chicken products who brought the “hot meat” to Dumaguete City.
