ILOILO City – A hotel maintenance officer was arrested for carrying an unlicensed gun in Barangay Manoc-manoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.
On Saturday, the 25-year-old Ryan Christian Barredo was taken to the Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC).
Barredo, a resident of New Washington, Aklan, was a maintenance officer of Boracay Regency Hotel. He was arrested around 8:10 p.m. The police seized from him a .45 pistol with two ammunitions during a commotion.
Barredo failed to show papers proving his legal ownership of the gun./PN
