ILOILO City – A 51-year-old man was nabbed in a house raid in Barangay Zona-sur, Banate, Iloilo.
Armed with a search warrant, the Banate police raided the house of Jeremias Deviza around 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 17, a police report showed.
Recovered from the house were a .45-caliber pistol loaded with 15 live bullets and two empty shells of an unidentified firearm, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Banate municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
