ILOILO City – A 10-year-old boy was found dead in their house in Barangay Alacaygan, Banate, Iloilo, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, the boy – who was only identified as “Mark” – was discovered by his parents hanging with a plastic rope tied around his neck around 2 p.m. on April 12.
Mark, a Grade 10 student, was left alone in their house that day, police said.
He was brought to the Barotac Viejo District Hospital where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Police ruled out foul play in Mark’s death. They said the motive in the suicide was family problem./PN
