BACOLOD City – A house helper was found lifeless inside the house where she was working along Moreno Street in Barangay 9, Kabanakalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old Mesaly Miraflores of Barangay Buenavista, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental was found lying inside her bedroom around 5:05 a.m. on Monday, a police report showed.
Rescuers rushed Miraflores to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan where attending physician Dr. John Vic Caagbay pronounced her “dead on arrival.”
Investigators said Miraflores showed no signs of struggle.
Miraflores’ daughter and sister told the investigators that she had a heart problem. They believe Miraflores died a natural death.
Miraflores’ family no longer wants the body to undergo autopsy.
The body was brought to a local mortuary./PN
