SANYA Lopez reacted to netizens’ comments that she is a “loveteam slayer” or a “loveteam threat.”

On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Friday, March 28, the Kapuso star learned that she was first called those terms when her tandem with Alden Richards on “Pulang Araw” happened around the same time the Alden-Kathryn Bernardo starrer “Hello, Love, Again” premiered. Now, she is being called by those labels again as she stars opposite David Licauco, who is in the phenomenal BarDa loveteam with Barbie Forteza, on “Samahan ng Mga Makasalanan.”

In response to these, Sanya said, “Nasa isip ko lang, Tito Boy, na I’m blessed.”

Kasi itong mga taong ‘to, sila ‘yung mga blessed din eh na actors, actresses. Napakahusay nila. Magaling po silang lahat,” she added. “And to be partnered with Alden and David now, it’s a privilege po na makasama sila.”

Sanya said that it is important for the chemistry to be good with her leading men.

The First Lady of Primetime also said she does not read negative comments about her.

Kasi at the end of the day, trabaho pa din. It’s work,” she said.

However, Sanya said she understands the comments as she is also a loveteam fan. She also knows how some fans would feel jealous of an actor’s romantic interest in a project.

“Sometimes, meron tayong ganong [thinking] na sarili lang natin iniisip natin, ‘di ba,” Sanya said.

Pero if you’re a fan talaga at you really love ‘yung taong sinusuportahan mo, susuportahan mo siya kahit na sino pa [ka-partner] niya eh,” she added. (GMA Integrated News)
