MUSIC veteran Zsa Zsa Padilla marked the birth anniversary of film icon Dolphy, her partner of over two decades, on Wednesday.
On Instagram, Padilla shared a photo of her at The Heritage Park in Taguig, where Dolphy’s remains lie, on the occasion of his birthday on July 25.
Dolphy, who passed away in 2012, would have been 90.
Padilla’s caption for the photo set was lyrics of “There You’ll Be,” a song by Faith Hill about remembering a loved one who is no longer around.
A part of the lyrics lifted by Padilla reads:
“In my dreams I’ll always see you soar above the sky
In my heart there’ll always be a place for you
For all my life
I’ll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am there you’ll be”
Padilla, over the years, has regularly posted about Dolphy, notably during special occasions. Some photos include glimpses of her wrist tattoo which she got after Dolphy’s death. It’s a writing of their term of endearment for each other, “Lovey.”
Padilla is now in a relationship with architect Conrad Onglao. (ABS-CBN News)
