ILOILO City – Charges have been filed against a tricycle driver and his suspected mistress after the former’s wife traced them checked-in at a lodging house in La Paz district on Friday night, Oct. 6.
The Women and Children’s Protection Desk of La Paz Police Station in this city said the aggrieved wife filed charges for concubinage and violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
The wife, identified only by the alias “Inday,” waited for the two outside their room to confirm after receiving a tip that her husband was seen with another woman earlier that day.
She added that she first caught her husband cheating sometime in 2013.
