ILOILO City – Human skeletons were found in a grassy area of Barangay Dugwakan, Banate, Iloilo.
Police investigators said the remains were those of Wendy Baroma, 76, of Barangay Cag-an, Anilao, Iloilo who was reported missing on Feb. 14.
Residents found the bones around 3 p.m. on April 20.
According to the police, some of Baroma’s clothes were intact and could be identified as those that the victim was wearing when she was last seen alive.
Baroma’s family and relatives said the victim had been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
They were convinced that there was no foul play on her death./PN
