ILOILO – A 41-year-old husband died while his wife was injured after they figured in a motorcycle accident in Barangay Dawis Norte, Zarraga town around 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.
Reymundo Gardose sustained fatal had injuries. He was declared dead on arrival at Iloilo Provincial Hospital in the town’s Barangay Rumbang.
His wife, 45-year-old Lanie Gardose, had minor injuries on her hand and was also brought to the same hospital.
According to the Zarraga Municipal Police Station, the victims were on their way home to Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz, Iloilo City when their motorcycle accidentally hit a signage placed on the middle of the road undergoing asphalt overlaying.
Police said the couple was thrown off their motorcycle./PN
