AKLAN – The District Hospital Emergency Complex in Ibajay town is nearing completion.

Once completed, the emergency health complex would help ensure a more effective and prompt response to any medical situations in the town.

Aklan’s Gov. Joen Miraflores, Ibajay’s Mayor Jose Miguel Miraflores and other local officials expressed their gratitude for the realization of these new health facilities, emphasizing the significant benefits it will bring to their community.

On Sunday, June 16, Sen. Bong Go visited and inspected the emergency complex as well as the ongoing construction of the Super Health Center in Ibajay.

The chairman of the Senate Committee on Health praised the efforts being made to improve healthcare services in the town.

Sen. Go has been advocating for the establishment of more Super Health Centers nationwide to bring government medical services closer to the people particularly in grassroots communities.

He had earlier said that Super Health Centers are important for the residents, especially for those living in poverty in rural areas, as it will spare them the cost and effort of traveling to hospitals for check-ups./PN
