AKLAN – The suspect in a July 14 shooting in Sitio Ilaya, Antipolo, Ibajay town voluntarily surrendered to authorities around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 15.
Guiller Secciona turned himself to a kagawad of the aforementioned barangay, according to Ibajay police.
He was detained at the Ibajay Municipal police Station, facing a charge of frustrated murder.
Secciona shot his drinking buddy, Litari Ilinon, on Sunday night, July 14.
Police said the victim sustained a gunshot wound on his head and was in a critical condition as of this writing.
From Kalibo hospital, he was transferred to a private hospital in Iloilo City for proper treatment, the police added./PN
