ILOILO City – In the last two weeks of April, the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) conducted 17 antidrug operations, resulting in the arrest of 34 drug suspects.
Of the number, four were high-value drug suspects, 29 were street-level targets and one newly identified drug suspect, according to Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, spokesperson of the ICPO.
Sangrines added the ICPO also confiscated 252.5095 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,717,064.60.
This accomplishment is proof of the ICPO’s commitment to curb illegal drug activities, according to Sangrines.
Earlier, Police Colonel Joeresty Coronica, ICPO director, said continuous drug buy-bust operations will help reduce the supply of illegal drugs in the city./PN
