ILOILO City – At least 133 operatives of the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) underwent an unscheduled drug test on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
“All personnel in the headquarters were ordered to report in the morning,” ICPO spokesperson Major Shella Mae Sangrines said.
Personnel from the crime laboratory of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) conducted the drug testing.
Sangrines said the “surprise” drug test was part of the internal cleansing among police personnel.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang aton internal cleansing kag drug clearing. Whoever will test positive for illegal drugs will face administrative charges which could result to their dismissal from the service,” she added./PN
