ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has reshuffled its officers.

Supt. Ruperto Floro, city police director, pulled out Senior Insp. Marlon Valencia from the Molo police station and made him the Iloilo City Public Safety Company deputy commander.

Valencia replaced Insp. Christopher Rodriguez who was reassigned as chief of the city hall police detachment.

Senior Insp. Rio Maymay, former head of the city hall police detachment, is now the Molo police chief.

More will be reshuffled, sources said. This will involve Chief Insp. Efren Lozada, chief of the La Paz police station; Chief Insp. Rhea Santos, chief of the Jaro police station; Senior Insp. Kit Flora, chief of the ICPO Traffic Management; Senior Insp. Edel Hermosa, ICPO Administration chief; and Senior Insp. Rene Obregon, ICPO Investigation Division chief.

Flora and Obregon are set to take up further training. Hermosa, on the other hand, sought transfer to the Guimaras Police Provincial Office.

Supt. Gilbert Gorero, ICPO spokesperson, said revamps are normal within the Philippine National Police. The main objective is to enhance further the police’s delivery of services, he stressed./PN
