ILOILO City – A man was hacked to death in Barangay Mulangan, Igbaras, Iloilo.
The 31-year-old resident Ronnel Elbao died of multiple hack wounds on the body, police said.
According to police investigation, Elbao was sleeping inside their house when an unidentified suspect hacked him around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Elbao’s mother Ma. Teresa said the suspect barged into their house while they were sleeping and attacked his son.
Officers of the Igbaras police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
