BACOLOD City – Four persons were nabbed for illegal cockfighting in Hacienda Bu-ac, Barangay Kapitan Ramon, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
They were Romy Camingawan, 44; Julito Peñalosa, 31; Rodrigo Delmondo, 60; and Jimboy Estioco, 21, a police report showed.
Police recovered two game fowls, P960 bet money and other gambling paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession around 12 noon on April 18.
They were detained in the lockup facility of the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 449, or the Cockfighting Law of 1974./PN
