ILOILO City – For alleged illegal fishing, 11 individuals were arrested in Barangay Balaring, Ivisan, Capiz.
They were Rene Boy Custodio, Noel Angelo Sabala, Renante Dordas, Emelio Zita, Rodelio Ruiz, Emil Zita, Brian Delfin, Jose Cias, Neylo Villanueva, Rozaldom Zita, and Eric Santiago, a police report showed.
They were caught using prohibited fish-catching gears in the sea waters of Balaring around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, the report added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Ivisan municipal police station.
Charges were filed against them./PN
