ILOILO City – Charged with illegal gambling, a 27-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Salvacion, Buenavista, Guimaras.
Warren Paul Beltran will have to shell out P20,000 to spare himself from detention, a police report stated.
Officers from the Buenavista police station served Beltran a warrant of arrest at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Beltran was accused of violating Presidential Decree 1602, as amended by Republic Act 9287, stated the police report.
Presiding Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 issued the warrant against the suspect.
The court recommended a P20,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
