ILOILO City – Three men arrested for alleged illegal gambling have been released on bail.
Bonifacio Tavalino, 45, Jeffrey Porras, 30, and Carlo Onglacto, 42 – all residents of Barangay San Nicolas, La Paz – were arrested and detained at the district police station last Friday evening.
La Paz police caught them playing the card game “tong-its” at around 9 p.m. Friday in their village. Playing cards and P281 cash were seized from them.
They were released from detention on Saturday morning after posting a P15,000 bail bond each./PN
