BACOLOD City – Police arrested five persons engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay San Isidro, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
They were identified as residents Romel Espiso, 43; Zeny Espiso, 42; Steve Flores, 38; Ryan Erecilla, 23; and Arnel Tedon, 32, a police report showed.
Officers of the municipal police station nabbed the suspects on the strength of an arrest warrant on May 21.
The suspects were detained in the Pontavedra police station’s custodial facility.
The court recommended a P30,000 bail bond for their temporary liberty./PN
