ILOILO City – A farmer was nabbed for illegal gambling in Barangay Atabayan, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The 47-year-old Antonio Calumay was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:50 p.m. on March 23, police said.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Tigbauan police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling.
A P30,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
